We all need a place to vent or express ourselves. This is my place. My political leanings are to the practical and the pragmatic, not to dogma of conservative or liberal. My world view is colored by training and experience as a Journalist in the days when Journalism Ethics had meaning

My views are also colored by life experience in a family that instilled Christian values of what is right and what is wrong. Christian values that have been expressed through the centuries are still valid and hold much promise for today. These values are the rock and pillar of our western culture. Therefore, I do not apologize in the least from allowing my preferences to leak out of my essays and musings.

I hope that you find them at least entertaining if not thought provoking.
